Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryABE (ABRAHAM) REIMER With deepest sadness we have had to part with our beloved Abe on September 12, 2007. Abe was born on a farm in Miami, Manitoba on September 17, 1925 and married Ruth on March 11, 1950 and had 57 years of beautiful marriage. He fought in the Second World War with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles and after returning to Canada, he was employed at the Canadian Wheat Board and retired in 1982 as the Director of Systems Operations. In retirement years, Abe and Ruth spent many winters in Florida, Texas and countless summers at the cottage. He was most happy working and puttering around his two loves - their home in North Kildonan and the cottage at Brereton Lake. Abe is survived by his loving wife Ruth, son David (Helen), daughter Avery and four grandsons, Shane, Conrad, Evan and Brant, along with his two brothers and four sisters. The family would like thank the staff at Concordia Hospital for their EXCEPTIONAL care and compassion for Abe and the family during this difficult time.
